Spread holiday cheer one step at a time!
Lace up your running shoes and don your holiday attire! The 8th annual Old Town Rudolph Run 5K is coming to Old Town Leander on December 2, 2023.
This chip-timed event starts in the heart of Old Town and tours through the streets of Leander. The course is flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain. This 5K will have limited participation, so sign up early to ensure you can join us for this exciting event.

New for 2023: Custom Medal
This year, we excited to offer all participants this custom finisher medal! Whether you run, walk or prance like Rudolph across the finish line, this commemorative award will be waiting for you. Participants will love showing off their accomplishment and a little holiday cheer!
Looking to test your speed? As in years past, we’ll also award our top finishers in each age category with an additional medal. Our 5K Awards Ceremony will immediately follow the run and recognizes these top competitors.

Race Theme and Shirt

Whether you’re hitting the race track or simply celebrating the holiday season, our Christmas-themed race T-shirt will infuse your season with joy! Our long-sleeve, premier quality shirt shows off this year’s Christmas festival theme: Classic Christmas.
All race participants will receive our limited-edition race shirt, in addition to our custom finisher medal. Race participants are welcome to wear their shirt for the race, and festive attire is encouraged!

When is the Rudolph Run?
The Old Town Rudolph Run 5K is Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at 10 am
Where does the Run start?
The race will begin and finish at 100 N. Brushy St. in Old Town Leander
Who can participate?
The race is open to runners and walkers of all ages. Strollers are permitted and friendly, leashed dogs may join as well.

PACKET PICKUP
Race packets can be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, 11/30 & 12/1 for local racers & at 9:30 AM on race day for out-of-town racers.
PRIZES
The 5K awards ceremony will follow the completion of the race with a first-place gold medal awarded to the top finisher in each age category (0-12, 13-19, 20-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-64, 66+) for male and female. All finishers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.
PARKING
Parking is available in the LISD parking lots surrounding Old Town and along the streets of Old Town.
NOTE – For easy access to the lots, follow these directions:
From Crystal Falls Parkway, turn onto S. West Drive. Follow S. West Drive North toward Old Town. Lots will be on your right and left as you get close to Old Town. These lots are not accessible from 183.
